Let AI Curate Your Playlist With Spotify's New Daylist Feature

In other Spotify news, the streaming platform has rolled out a new feature, daylist, a playlist curated especially for you by artificial intelligence. It changes throughout the day and can't be returned to, no matter how fire last Thursday's lineup was.

It's called what? daylist is a playlist that updates and changes throughout the day to be in tune with your listening habits, which Spotify has known about for years. The playlist will continually refresh throughout the day based on what you historically engage with at certain times and will include new music and a new title. Examples include "bedroom pop banger early morning" and "windows down thrillwave thursday evening."

The graphics will also transition throughout the day from yellow sunshine to sunset colors to a glowing moon and eventually black. Daylist launched on Tuesday and is available to premium and ad-supported users in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

What they're saying: "daylist updates frequently bringing together the niche music and microgenres you typically stream at certain times of the day and week," a spokesperson said. "You’ll get new tracks at every update, plus a new title that sets the mood of your daylist."

More AI: daylist arrives after the success of Spotify's AI-powered DJ feature and Niche Mixes, launched earlier this year. The new feature can be found by searching the term in Spotify or going to spotify.com/daylist. To share it, listeners have three options including a pre-made screenshot, personalized sticker, or customizable sharecard.
